Eastern Carver County Schools is seeking a Club Care Assistant Float to support students in elementary sites and assist staff with daily activities. The role runs Monday through Friday with split shifts, providing care before and after school programs.

The position offers a consistent schedule, a guaranteed hourly wage of $22.66, and eligibility for overtime and bonuses. A background check and employment contingent on Board approval are required.

Club Care Assistant Float

Start Date: ASAP

Position Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 10:30am & 2:00pm - 6:00pm; Year-Round

Salary: $22.66/hr. (Tier 4)

An extra $31.49/day will be earned when working a split shift on student contact days.

Responsible To: Child Care Specialist and Director of Community Education

$500 Hiring Bonus: One‑time payment upon successful completion of probationary employment period (120 days)

$250 Referral Bonus

Position Purpose: Provide care for students in program and assist in activities and everyday needs of the site. Give direction to paraprofessionals on site.

Major Job Functions/Specific Tasks/Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: See attachment.

Qualifications: Current first aid certification (have or willing to obtain); experience working with elementary aged children.

Benefits of Employment: Eligible for benefits as negotiated between Student Support Staff (MSEA Association) and District 112. This position is eligible for overtime and comp time.
