Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars, stocks beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintains and prepares fresh garnishes and perishables.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders, mixes drinks, and practices portion control.
• Verifies guest IDs.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Handles cash, makes change, and verifies charges.
• Secures beverage inventory, cash, and equipment.
• Performs cleaning tasks to ensure health and safety standards.
• Displays bottles and glasses attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
