Job Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up and stocks the bar with beer, wine, spirits, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintains fresh garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders, mixes drinks, and practices portion control.
• Verifies guest IDs.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Handles cash, verifies charges, and records transactions accurately.
• Secures all beverage and cash items properly.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Displays bottles and glasses attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
