Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to liquor laws and regulations, including serving alcohol responsibly and checking IDs.
• Set up the bar, stock all necessary supplies including beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, and glassware.
• Maintain stock levels and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greet guests courteously and take drink orders.
• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks using standard recipes, practicing portion control.
• Check guests' identification for legal drinking age.
• Detect and respond to guest inebriation appropriately.
• Handle cash, verify charges, and ensure proper transaction procedures.
• Secure all beverage and food items, cash, and equipment after use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to health standards.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
