Job Summary

Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to liquor laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars; stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, garnishes, glassware, ice, and produce.
• Maintains stock and prepares garnishes, juices, and perishables to ensure quality.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders; mixes and garnishes drinks following recipes; practices portion control.
• Checks IDs to verify guest age.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly; knows liquor laws.
• Handles cash, verifies charges, records transactions, and manages vouchers.
• Secures beverage products, food, equipment, cash drops, and deposits.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
