Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to join the ERP Cloud Platform team. You will design, build, and maintain a highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure supporting financial management, HR, tax, and asset management solutions.

You will lead DevOps best practices, implement CI/CD pipelines, and enhance hosting platforms with IaC while developing automation tools and providing on-call support. Collaborate across teams and foster continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Cloud & DevOps expertise with at least 1 year in a cloud-focused role, preferably AWS.
• CI/CD experience with at least 1 year in automation pipelines.
• Linux administration with at least 1 year of experience.
• HA and security-focused cloud design experience for 1 year.
• AWS workload management experience for 1 year.
• OO language development experience (C#/.NET) for 1 year.
• Scripting with Bash or Python for 1 year.
• Familiarity with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, ELB, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, S3).
• IaC tooling experience (Terraform preferred).
• Hands-on CI/CD platforms (Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Datadog or similar monitoring experience.
• Microservices architecture understanding.
• Database knowledge of PostgreSQL and MSSQL is a plus.
• AWS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps best practices across products and teams.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with product teams.
• Enhance ERP hosting platform using IaC, configuration management, and event-driven infra.
• Develop automation tools to streamline deployments and monitoring.
• Drive DevOps transformation and adopt best practices.
• Provide on-call support to maintain system stability.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams for efficient solutions.
• Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
• Offer constructive feedback to leadership on DevOps strategy.
• Stay informed on DevOps principles and practices.
