Job summary

SpeedX in Montebello, CA is seeking a skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to own daily operations of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes clusters, and related infrastructure. You will ensure production stability, implement monitoring, and support CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab.

You will collaborate across R&D, security, and product teams, drive incident response, and contribute to documentation and process improvements to maintain high availability of enterprise services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related major with 3+ years in cloud DevOps or SRE.
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English.
• Experience with Azure/AWS and cloud networking, security groups, and VPNs.
• Kubernetes operations including Ingress, Namespace, ConfigMap, Secret; log collection and monitoring.
• Proficient in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab) and monitoring/logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiar with Linux networking, load balancing, firewalls, and incident response.
• Strong documentation and cross-team communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cloud Resources & Infrastructure Operations: daily ops, inspection, troubleshooting of cloud resources.
• Production Stability: production deployments, changes, capacity checks, monitoring and incident response.
• Monitoring & Logging: manage Prometheus, Grafana, and log pipelines, optimize alerts and retention.
• DevOps & Release Support: maintain CI/CD, support Jenkins, GitLab, Nginx, Ingress, Helm issues.
• Access Control & Security Ops: review permissions, least privilege, traceability, reduce public access.
• Security Incident & Compliance Support: assist with incident response, audit materials, remediation records.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: write SOPs, change records, and audit support materials.
• Collaborative Support: work with R&D, security, product, and customer teams to resolve issues.
