Job summary

SpeedX, a California-based last-mile delivery tech company, seeks an IT DevOps Engineer who is bilingual in Chinese and English to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines.

You will deploy containerized apps with Docker/Kubernetes, automate SDLC processes, and optimize enterprise environments across Windows and Linux platforms, ensuring high availability and security. This role involves collaborating with global teams and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of enterprise IT operations experience.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization (VMware).
• Fluent in Chinese and English with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and manage containerized apps to ensure scalable cloud infra.
• Automate deployment and configuration with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Jenkins.
• Maintain middleware and app servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, IIS).
• Monitor performance with New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch and analyze logs for troubleshooting.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, TFS, Maven, Gradle; support diverse scripting languages.
