Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management in Kansas City seeks an expert DevOps/Platform Engineer to scale our eShepherd platform. You will work with the R&D team across regions, focusing on performance, reliability and cloud native delivery.

Responsibilities include investigating bottlenecks, designing scalable data paths, and extending DevOps in North America to support regional growth and customer success in-state.

Qualifications

• Experience running production cloud infrastructure at scale on AWS.
• Deep MySQL database design and tuning.
• Infra as code and modern CI/CD practices; Python or Node.js preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate performance and scale of the platform under load.
• Collaborate with global teams (Melbourne/Hamilton) and North America.
• Develop monitoring, incident response and capacity planning processes.
• Own DevOps pipelines and IaC across regions.
