Job summary

Amazon in Tempe, AZ seeks a Systems Development Engineer to build video analytics and security infrastructure for fulfillment teams worldwide. Responsibilities include developing software for analytics, deploying and maintaining video solutions using AWS and AI platforms, and delivering results in an agile environment.

You'll work across Loss Prevention, Operations, and Safety, with opportunities to influence customers; requires experience automating infrastructure.

Qualifications

Experience automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure.
Experience programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain cloud-based video analytics solutions for internal stakeholders.
Create and maintain cloud-based automation applications for deployment and configuration of video solutions.
Continuously strive for cost-effective and highly available solutions.
Participate in scalable infrastructure automation tools for global security video infrastructure.
Ensure that all products are secure, robust, scalable, maintainable and adaptable as services evolve.
Build instrumentation for health, with alerting and self-healing capabilities.
Uphold a high standard of code quality and engineering excellence.
