Vultr is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our global Technical Support team, providing advanced technical support for Vultr’s products and infrastructure, and serving as an escalation point for complex issues. You will work closely with customers, system administrators, and engineering teams to diagnose and resolve platform problems.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in enterprise technical support
• Strong Linux systems experience
• Troubleshooting methodologies and non-routine issues
• Experience with enterprise networking concepts
• Experience in cloud/IaaS environments
• Clear communication under pressure
• Ability to work independently in a 24/7 ops model
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Fluent English
• Knowledge of GPU service delivery is a plus

Aufgaben

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical guidance on Vultr products and services, including escalated issues.
• Act as first responder to platform alerts, assess impact, troubleshoot, and escalate when needed.
• Lead incident analysis, perform root-cause investigations, and recommend preventive actions.
• Coordinate with sysadmin, engineering, networking to resolve platform issues and outages.
• Create, update, and maintain internal docs and knowledge base for support processes.
• Mentor junior team members and support enterprise customer environments.
• Provide timely updates and clear communication to customers during resolution.
• Support enterprise environments with performance, availability, and configuration issues.
• Set diagnostic standards and best practices for the support function.
• Participate in a 24/7 team-based operations schedule.
