Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an IS Technical Specialist to provide advanced technical support and consult on the most complex matters. You will analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications while solving hardware or software problems.

The role requires leading and mentoring junior staff, staying current with industry trends, and potentially guiding projects. Office-based with flexible work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered.
• Proficient in Python, AWS and/or GCP and RESTful API.
• Strong interpersonal skills with customer service focus; able to work with IT, vendor and business groups.
• Ability to lead and advise inexperienced technical team.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
• Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
• Possesses knowledge of technical tools for systems development and support.
• Keeps up-to-date with technical industry trends related to Huntington.
• May assist with identifying training needs or training of staff.
• May serve as project leader for specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
