Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Lead Cloud Systems Owner to guide cloud infrastructure for Air Traffic software initiatives in a modern, scalable environment. You will architect, deploy, and operate cloud platforms for development, testing, and production, coordinating with engineers, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps for reliable, secure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience administering AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux administration experience and scripting (Bash or Python).
• Knowledge of Git version control and networking fundamentals.
• Security best practices and IAM design; SF-85/Public Trust eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain cloud infrastructure for dev, test, and prod.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters: node groups, upgrades, networking, RBAC.
• Handle platform configurations: ingress, network policies, storage, Helm releases.
• Maintain IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation across environments.
• Configure AWS services: networking, compute, storage, identity, security.
• Automate provisioning and config management with Ansible or similar tools.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash and Python for health and compliance tasks.
• Configure Linux servers, storage, packages, services, and security controls.
• Implement identity management using IAM, AD, LDAP; manage secrets with Vault/KMS.
• Troubleshoot issues across cloud, container, and application layers.
• Monitor health, availability, performance, and metrics; ensure security posture.
• Support Agile ceremonies; enable rapid infrastructure delivery for teams.
• Document configurations, procedures, architecture decisions, and DR processes.
