Job summary

Leidos seeks a Lead Cloud Systems Owner to join the Air Traffic Business Area within Homeland Sector. You will support next‑gen flight service and air traffic systems, provisioning and securing cloud environments for Agile teams and production systems.

The role focuses on scalable, compliant cloud infrastructure and requires ability to obtain a Public Trust; the posting notes the position is unfunded at this time and contingent on future work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (CS/IS/Engineering) with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 2+ years.
• Experience administering AWS or GCP cloud environments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux administration experience.
• Experience scripting with Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of Git version control.
• Understanding networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, load balancing).
• Experience implementing IAM and security best practices.
• Ability to obtain SF-85 Public Trust suitability; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain cloud infrastructure for dev, test, and prod.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters: node groups, upgrades, networking, RBAC.
• Manage platform configurations: ingress, network policies, storage, Helm.
• Own IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation across environments.
• Configure AWS services: networking, compute, storage, identity, security.
• Automate provisioning with Ansible or similar tools.
• Develop Bash/Python scripts for health, ops, and compliance tasks.
• Manage Linux servers, storage, packages, and security controls.
• Implement IAM and security controls, PKI assets and secrets management.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, containers, and apps.
• Monitor platform health and performance; participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Document configurations, procedures, and architectural decisions.
