Job summary

K2United, LLC is seeking a Cloud Administrator to maintain AWS-hosted systems across Linux, Windows, and databases. This remote role offers hands-on experience with platform runbooks, incident response, and cross-platform operations under Cloud Engineer guidance.

You will implement patching, follow change management processes, document steps, and help build a knowledge base that strengthens the team for broader, scalable infrastructure tasks in a mission-driven, small-business environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS environments and Linux/Windows administration.
• Foundational knowledge of databases and systems administration concepts.
• Experience patching, maintenance, vulnerability management, or related ops.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, runbooks, and change processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute patching and maintenance across Linux, Windows, databases and AWS per schedules.
• Follow change management, validation, and documentation practices.
• Triage platform issues and escalate when needed, across multiple platforms.
• Support cross-platform work under Cloud Engineer guidance.
• Use runbooks and monitoring tools to identify issues and document findings.
• Participate in platform reviews and incidents to understand interdependencies.
• Contribute to a growing knowledge base of resolved issues and operational findings.
