Job summary

Ntgit is seeking a Systems Engineer - Cloud Storage, Backup & Disaster Recovery to support government enterprise storage and backup operations. The role focuses on provisioning, configuring, and improving hybrid infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, OCI) with emphasis on DR, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess a SECRET security clearance and required access approvals before work begins.
• Five (5) years of professional experience in engineering with enterprise storage/backup.
• Three (3) years hands-on experience managing hybrid storage using Azure and/or AWS.
• Two (2) years SAN management experience including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, LUNs, RAID.

Responsibilities

• Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain storage and backup infrastructure.
• Support Azure, AWS, and OCI environments for availability and performance of critical applications.
• Plan and document pre-failover, test, and post-failover activities for ISCP exercises.
• Conduct annual disaster recovery testing for cloud-hosted shares.
• Develop and oversee storage arrays and related components.
• Implement file-sharing, backup policies, and restore capabilities across on‑prem and cloud.
