NTG is seeking a Systems Engineer – Cloud Storage, Backup & Disaster Recovery to support government customers with on‑prem and cloud storage, backup, and DR. The role emphasizes Azure/AWS/OCI, ISCP exercises, and security hardening across NIPRNet and SIPRNet.

The engineer will provision, configure, monitor, and improve hybrid infrastructure, participate in on‑call rotations, and ensure mission‑critical continuity of operations with proper documentation and reporting.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• SECRET security clearance and IT‑I access approvals before work begins.
• 5 years in engineering with storage and backup software experience.
• 3 years managing hybrid storage infra using Azure and/or AWS.
• 2 years enterprise SAN management incl. FC zoning, iSCSI, NAS.
• Experience with Cohesity NetBackup, AWS Backup, Azure Recovery/ Site Recovery, OCI DR.
• 2 years DoW IT systems experience.
• Must meet IAT‑II and cyber workforce qualifications.
• Current credentials for administered systems must be maintained.
• Certifications in AWS/Azure/NetApp/Cohesity are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain storage and backup hardware and software.
• Support Azure, AWS, and OCI environments to maintain availability and performance.
• Coordinate pre‑failover, test, and post‑failover activities for ISCP exercises.
• Perform annual disaster recovery testing for cloud‑hosted shares and document results.
• Develop and oversee storage arrays, Fibre Channel switches, and related components.
• Implement file sharing, backup policies, and restorations across on‑prem and cloud.
• Support CVA in NIPRNet/SIPRNet; harden storage and recommend secure configurations.
• Apply software/firmware updates and DISA STIG settings.
• Maintain POAMs, PPSM registrations, and PKI certificate requests.
• Produce admin guides, project/test plans, and recovery reports.
