Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate our ISV Partner business within the World-Wide Public-Sector practice. You will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFPs, and become a security expert for customer applications on AWS.

You will collaborate with sales and business development, shape best practices, and mentor junior SAs while traveling up to 30% to customer sites and partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software/Internet industries.
• Experience in GenAI deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-service architecture designs on AWS for public sector customers.
• Develop and deliver thought leadership content (blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures) on AWS Databricks/Data & AI.
• Mentor junior SAs and contribute to organizational scaling through reusable artifacts and best practices.
