The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, architecture reviews, and automation via IaC, with requirements for active Top Secret clearance and DHS suitability. On-site work in Arlington, VA is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing cloud architectures, preferably on AWS.
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong documentation and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and enhance cloud-based architectures to support ESS operational requirements.
• Create scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for rapid deployment across mission scenarios.
• Lead migration of on-prem capabilities into the AWS cloud and tailor capabilities to engagement scope.
• Develop automation frameworks to streamline provisioning and deployment processes.
• Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates and documentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to improve operations.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance to implementation teams.
• Support troubleshooting of complex architectural issues during active operations.
