Job summary

IT-Strat is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design, optimize, and secure cloud architectures for defense and government initiatives in Falls Church, VA. You will lead migrations to AWS, develop automation for provisioning, and maintain infrastructure-as-code while collaborating with DevOps to strengthen CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud architecture, a bachelor’s in CS/engineering, and the ability to obtain DHS suitability.

Qualifications

5+ years designing cloud architectures (AWS preferred).
Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
Strong documentation and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design, optimize, and enhance cloud-based architectures to meet ESS requirements.
Lead migration of on-prem capabilities into AWS.
Develop automation frameworks for provisioning and deployment processes.
Create and maintain infrastructure-as-code templates and documentation.
Collaborate with DevOps to enhance CI/CD pipelines.
Evaluate new cloud services and technologies to improve operations.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance.
