SteerBridge Strategies, a Veteran-led small business, is seeking aCloud Solutions Architectto join our growing team based at our headquarters inTysons Corner (Vienna, VA). This is your opportunity to lead cloud transformation initiatives that modernize complex enterprise systems at scale.

Our projects span AI/ML, cloud architecture, and secure infrastructure design to support modernization efforts across critical industries.

What You’ll Do:
As aCloud Solutions Architect,you’ll lead the design, deployment, and governance of secure, high-availability environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will:

• Design and implement cloud-native architectures using modern tools and platforms
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools likeTerraformorCloudFormation
• Ensure compliance withsecurity frameworks(e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) and best practices
• Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions
• Lead cloud modernization and digital transformation efforts across enterprise platforms
• Conduct architecture reviews, cost optimization, and risk assessments
• Present detailed documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment strategies
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and compliance trends

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree inCybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of IT experiencewith a focus on cloud engineering and architecture
• Expertise in at least one major platform:AWS,Azure, orGCP
• Professional-level certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Architect Expert)
• Proficiency withTerraform,CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Deep understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to brief both technical and business stakeholders

Location:
Must be local to theWashington, D.C. metro areaand able to workon-site at our Vienna, VA office (5 days/week). Relocation assistance is available for highly qualified candidates.
