Job summary

CACI is seeking a Software Engineer to work across the software development lifecycle, including deployment, automation, cloud infrastructure, and production support.

You will support cloud-native deployments, DevOps activities, and build secure, automated production systems. The role emphasizes containerized apps, logging/monitoring, and scalable infrastructure across platforms, with a TS/SCI clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• TS/SCI with polygraph within the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in designing, building, testing and deploying changes to existing software.
• Experience in enhanced infrastructure security protocols.
• Knowledge in identifying manual processes that can be automated.
• Experience in maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure.
• Automate code integration, testing, and deployment to deliver product features to production securely and efficiently.
• Provision and manage environments using automation tools instead of manual server configurations.
• Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to proactively detect bottlenecks and resolve production issues.
• Manage containerized applications to ensure seamless scaling across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and use of COTS/GOTS.
