Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join the Cyber Intelligence team in Laurel, MD. You will contribute to cloud solutions built on AWS, large-scale compute clusters, and AI/ML workflows, collaborating with an integrated product team.

The role involves requirements analysis, software development, testing, and issue resolution, with a focus on scalable, secure cloud services in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years in software development, requirements analysis, and testing.
• Experience with distributed NoSQL and big data tools (HBase, Accumulo, BigTable).
• At least 1 year with Java, C, or C++ in development settings.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud software and integrate with AWS and large compute clusters.
• Analyze requirements, implement software, test, and diagnose issues.
• Collaborate on AI/ML capabilities and data processing pipelines.
• Contribute to distributed systems design and performance optimization.
