Job summary

SageCor Solutions is hiring for an experienced MLOps-focused engineer serving Maryland and the Greater DC area. The role centers on hands-on ML model development, deployment, and operationalization in a fast-growing engineering services company.

The candidate will work across Python/Java/JS stacks, with Docker/Kubernetes, AWS cloud, and data technologies to support large-scale analytics and modern information technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hands-on MLOps experience, including fine-tuning and operationalizing
• Experience with small ML models
• Proficient in Python and Python libraries
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript with modern frameworks (Angular/React)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Bash scripting
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience with LLMs and OpenAI/related APIs
• Familiarity with distributed data processing and storage technologies
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related discipline or equivalent experience

CSWE-3 LCAT Qualifications:

• Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of seven (7) years experience combined programming with all of the following languages: Java, C++, or Python
• Within the last seven (7) years, a minimum of five (5) years experience designing and developing applications in a Windows or UNIX/Linux operating environment
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year of experience using database technologies such as Apache Accumulo, MongoDB, ScyllaDB, Google Cloud Bigtable, Amazon DynamoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Postgres, or equivalent technologies.
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year of experience using distributed batch- or stream-processing solutions such as Ray, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Beam, Databricks, cloud-native data-processing services, or equivalent technologies.
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year of experience using distributed file or object storage systems such as HDFS, Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake Storage, Google Cloud Storage, or equivalent technologies.
• Within the last three (3) years, a minimum of one (1) year experience with requirements analysis and design for one (1) or more object-oriented systems
• Within the past two (2) years, six (6) months development experience with Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Computing Services
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline; an associate's degree in computer science or related discipline and two (2) years programming experience or five (5) years programming experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
