Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) or ISSM to join the Network Security Engineering Team supporting federal government and other customers.

We require a leader with strong cybersecurity expertise, CI/CD security, and cloud-native architecture, who can drive strategy, ensure timely delivery, and align security with program objectives in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISSM responsibilities, overseeing cybersecurity strategy, risk management and compliance across programs.
• Establish and maintain system security architecture, policies, and procedures.
• Lead cybersecurity risk management activities including system authorization, control assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure cybersecurity requirements are integrated into program planning and milestones with stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain SSPs, security assessments, POA&Ms and engineering change documentation.
• Oversee DevSecOps integration, CI/CD security controls, and policy-as-code practices.
• Guide secure design and implementation of cloud-based and hybrid architectures with Zero Trust principles.
• Coordinate cross-functional cybersecurity efforts across engineering, development, operations and testing teams.
• Serve as primary cybersecurity liaison to customer leadership in regulated environments.
