Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an experienced Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) or Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to join the Network Security Engineering Team, supporting federal government and other customers. You will lead cybersecurity initiatives, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive secure design across programs and cloud/hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with 7 years; or 13 years with no degree.
• 5+ years implementing and overseeing NIST-based frameworks in regulated or enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting system authorization processes and continuous monitoring.
• Experience overseeing secure network and cloud architecture with posture at infra and platform levels.
• Experience applying Zero Trust and enterprise security practices across cloud, containerized, and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISSM duties, governance, and oversight of cybersecurity across programs.
• Maintain system security architecture, policies, and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Manage risk, authorization, assessments, and continuous monitoring activities.
• Integrate cybersecurity requirements into program planning and milestones.
• Prepare and maintain SSPs, security assessments, POA&Ms, and change documentation.
• Oversee DevSecOps integration in CI/CD pipelines and policy-as-code practices.
• Guide secure design of cloud-based and hybrid architectures with Zero Trust principles.
• Coordinate across engineering, development, operations, and testing teams for secure-by-design outcomes.
• Serve as cybersecurity liaison to customer leadership in regulated environments.
