Job summary

Starbridge is building the operating system for government partnerships, focusing on cloud security, vulnerability management, and compliance. You will secure AWS/GCP infrastructure, manage findings, and contribute to architecture, tooling, and incident response with a bias toward automation and AI-driven improvements.

You’ll also collaborate with engineering on deployments, reliability, and secure software development, while exploring AI-driven solutions to reduce manual work and improve

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in security or SRE with production security responsibilities.
• Strong cloud skills across AWS and GCP; experience operating Kubernetes, containers, IAM, networking, and storage.
• Practical vulnerability management experience: scanning, triage, remediation, and verification.
• Working knowledge of security and compliance practices: access controls, secure development, and assessment evidence.
• Solid programming skills; read and debug application code and build maintainable tools with tests.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD (Terraform, Helm, Jenkins).
• Clear communication; prioritize issues and drive changes end-to-end.
• Curiosity about AI and automation.
• U.S. citizenship required for FedRAMP access.

Responsibilities

• Cloud security and hardening across AWS and GCP; IaC and automated checks.
• Vulnerability management across apps, containers, and cloud infra; remediation and reporting.
• Technical compliance and customer trust; audit evidence and FedRAMP-related activities.
• Infrastructure and reliability: improve deployments, monitoring, backups, and recovery.
• Application security: reviews, CI/CD security checks, auth and API security.
