Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain security clearance.
• 5+ years hands-on cloud engineering experience, preferably with AWS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation (Terraform and/or CloudFormation), CI/CD.
• Experience deploying and operating containerized workloads using Docker with ECS, Fargate, or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure (ECS, Fargate, VPC, S3, IAM, ECR) using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Build and operate containerized workloads on ECS/Fargate; maintain CI/CD pipelines and STIG‑hardened baselines.
• Monitor production environments with CloudWatch; tune logging, metrics, alarms; participate in on‑call rotation.
• Troubleshoot networking, DNS, identity, and compute issues across hub-and-spoke environments; improve reliability and cost.
• Apply least-privilege IAM policies; support zero‑trust network access and secure connectivity for app and admin access.
• Remediate security findings with the security team; support audit, compliance, and ATO activities with documentation.
• Collaborate with architects and security engineers on designs; participate in design reviews and sprint planning.
