Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer in Doral, FL to ensure compliance with DoD and federal security controls while securing cloud environments. You will implement IAM, RBAC, and Zero Trust architectures, maintain SSP/SAR/POA&M, and report on cloud security risks.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS/Azure, serverless, and CI/CD pipelines, plus secure web app/API development using HTML/CSS/JS/React/Angular and REST/GraphQL. A security clearance (Secret) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing security controls in cloud environments (NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP) and DoD IL 2–5 policies.
• Proficient in IAM, RBAC, ZTA, security monitoring, and cloud-native security solutions.
• Experience with building or securing web apps using HTML/CSS/JS/React/Angular and API development (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and common cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Desirable certifications include CISSP, AWS Security, or Azure Security-related credentials.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, and DoD IL 2/4/5 security controls.
• Configure and manage IAM, RBAC, and Zero Trust Architectures.
• Develop and maintain SSP, SAR, and POA&M; provide Cloud Security Compliance & Risk Report.
• Develop secure web apps and APIs using HTML/CSS/JS/React/Angular and REST/GraphQL.
• Work with AWS/Azure cloud platforms, serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
