Job summary

Innovaccer Analytics seeks a Security Engineer-II to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events across cloud, endpoint, and network environments. You will work with Security, Infra, DevOps, and Engineering teams to protect AWS, Azure, and GCP ecosystems, including GovCloud and Azure Government.

Responsibilities include IAM and access-control reviews, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and maintaining SIEM/EDR/DLP tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on infrastructure/security engineering.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP; GovCloud/Gov environments preferred.
• Strong IAM, cloud security controls, network security, vulnerability mgmt.
• Experience with incident investigation and remediation.
• Kubernetes and Docker experience, especially in GCP.
• Proficiency with open-source security tools.
• Scripting/automation in Python, Bash, or PowerShell a plus.
• Security certifications desirable (Security+, CEH, OSCP, cloud certs).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• On-call readiness for 24x7 security operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Security, Infra, DevOps, and Engineering to secure cloud and infrastructure.
• Perform IAM and access-control reviews across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Conduct security posture assessments in AWS/Azure/GCP, including GovCloud.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
• Triage, investigate, and respond to security incidents across environments.
• Monitor security events using SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and related technologies.
• Support administration and tuning of security tools like SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP, firewalls.
• Develop automation scripts to improve security processes.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
