Job summary

Interclypse, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage security for AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. The role enforces security standards and guides agency teams on secure cloud adoption.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in IT with cloud/cybersecurity focus, 5+ years securing large-scale enterprise environments, and relevant cloud security certifications. On-site roles across Maryland support state modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
• General Experience: At least eight (8) years of experience in IT, with a focus on cloud computing or cybersecurity.
• Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of hands-on experience architecting and securing large-scale enterprise environments in AWS, Azure, and GCP. Must hold one or more relevant cloud security certifications and have expert-level knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, container security, and CI/CD pipeline security.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and manages security for the cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develops and enforces cloud security standards and provides expert guidance to agency development teams on secure cloud adoption and architecture.
