You will lead negotiations on technology and data licensing, advise on evolving cybersecurity regulations, and provide expert guidance across inbound and outbound initiatives to support AWS’s security commitments.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and admission to a state bar
• 5+ years of legal experience
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Ability to navigate ambiguous challenges with strong problem-solving skills
• Export Control Requirement: U.S. citizen/national, Green Card holder, or equivalent status

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal counsel on cloud security, transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Advise on emerging cybersecurity regulations worldwide and shape policy strategy.
• Serve as SME on security commitments in cloud enterprise agreements.
• Lead negotiations for technology, IP and data licensing across inbound and outbound initiatives.
• Support global security response with nuanced legal perspectives in ambiguous scenarios
