Job summary

Amazon’s Security Legal team seeks a Corporate Counsel to advise on cybersecurity compliance and incident response for Amazon’s global operations. You will help ensure regulatory alignment across Retail, Devices, and Health, while supporting our security teams with practical legal guidance.

You will lead responses to security incidents, coordinate with Compliance, Public Policy, Public Relations, and Privacy teams, and manage outside counsel relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and bar admission are required.
• 5+ years of post-bar legal experience.
• Experience across security, privacy, or cyber law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on cybersecurity and incident response compliance.
• Lead the legal response for security incidents and draft customer/regulator communications.
• Support cross-functional teams including Compliance, Public Policy, Public Relations, and Privacy.
• Manage outside counsel relationships and budgeting for security matters.
• Advise on security aspects of due diligence and M&A agreements.
