Job summary

HCSC is seeking a Cloud Security Engineering Manager to lead a hybrid team across Chicago or Richardson. You will design secure cloud infrastructure, drive secure-by-design patterns, and oversee lifecycle management within a risk-aware governance framework.

You will partner with Solutions Engineering and Infrastructure teams, advance CNAPP capabilities, and ensure compliance with NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field with 6 years in IT focused on cloud security or 10 years in IT focused on cloud security.
• 3 years of cloud security, technology and automation experience.
• 1 year in information security management or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cloud security engineering and operations team and provide technical leadership.
• Design and build secure cloud infrastructure solutions and repeatable build-kits.
• Oversee lifecycle management, policy enforcement, and risk communication to executives.
• Develop security processes, standards, and tools including IaC security scanning.
