Job summary

Dark Wolf in Colorado Springs seeks a Cloud Services Architect to develop defensive cyber solutions for space-ground systems. You will manage cloud environments (Azure/AWS), implement IAM and encryption, and contribute to COMSEC tooling and vulnerability assessment.

Hybrid on-site role with a strong emphasis on cloud governance, DevSecOps pipelines, and secure architecture. Requires US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance, plus AWS certifications and Terraform/CloudFormation expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 8 years minimum of relevant experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps pipeline design.
• Experience with Security First Architecture (IAM, encryption at rest and transit, network segmentation).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• SAFe for Teams Certification.
• AWS certifications (Associate Developer, AWS Specialty Security) or demonstrate AWS competence using CLI/Boto.
• US Citizenship and active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary enterprise cloud service administrator, managing all cloud services and environments and encompassing best practices.
• Provide consulting support for the extension of cloud services including new features, functions, baselines, and new cloud environments (e.g., MS Azure, AWS).
• Develop and maintain best practices, frameworks, and cloud-related documentation including COMSEC capabilities to enhance remote user service delivery.
• Develop tools to assess cyber vulnerabilities and prioritize cyber investments.
• Protect against unauthorized intrusion, corruption, and destruction of the Space Force's networks.
• Evaluate the current architecture and make improvements to enable the mission to deliver a robust solution.
