Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support US Space Force defense initiatives. You will contribute to rapid agile development of cyber defense tools that monitor, analyze, visualize, and report on space-ground cyber status.

The role requires hybrid on-site support at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. Ideal candidates have strong full stack skills (C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, Angular) and extensive government/DoD experience with SAFe and AWS expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty.
• 3 years' experience in full stack development
• 8+ years of engineering experience in Government/military or related domains
• SAFe for Teams certification
• AWS certifications (Associate Developer or AWS Specialty Security) or demonstrated AWS competence using CLI/Boto
• Experience with C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Angular
• Knowledge of AS/CI tools and dev-ops: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Linux; plus Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Artifactory, GitLab
• US Citizenship and Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Evaluating current software architectures and implementing meaningful improvements for robust, field-ready solutions.
• Ensuring high-quality, technically accurate government-facing products are submitted.
• Providing strategic advice, technical expertise, and mentorship to program staff; performing duties independently.
• Developing tools to assess cyber vulnerabilities and protect Space Force networks.
• Communicating clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy in oral and written form.
