Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-5+ years of relevant cyber experience.
• Experience with NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DODI 8510.01.
• Ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences and provide written feedback.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and track vulnerabilities across network, system, and app layers using enterprise tools.
• Coordinate containment, mitigation, and remediation with IT teams.
• Support threat modeling exercises and evaluation of security incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Validate security requirements and assess operational risk to propose baseline safeguards.
• Assist in Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) preparations and post-test analyses.
• Review system audit logs and monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Configure, harden, and maintain secure OS, network access controls, and security apps.
