Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Arquitecto de Seguridad en la Nube to design, implement, and manage security for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) in a dynamic, growth-oriented team. You will lead security architecture efforts, enforce policies, and drive secure integration into CI/CD pipelines.

You will bring 5+ years in cybersecurity focusing on cloud security, with strong knowledge of NIST/ISO frameworks, and experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS/WAF. Spanish and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with cloud security focus.
• Experience with major cloud platforms and their security services.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and security frameworks.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint protection.
• Strong threat modeling and risk assessment skills.
• Certs like CISSP/CCSP are a plus.
• Excellent Spanish and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design security architectures for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing.
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents and breaches.
• Collaborate to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats and security technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
