Placements24 is seeking an Arquitecto de Seguridad en la Nube to design, implement, and manage security for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) in a dynamic, growth-oriented team. You will lead security architecture efforts, enforce policies, and drive secure integration into CI/CD pipelines.

You will bring 5+ years in cybersecurity focusing on cloud security, with strong knowledge of NIST/ISO frameworks, and experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS/WAF. Spanish and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with cloud security focus.
• Experience with major cloud platforms and their security services.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and security frameworks.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint protection.
• Strong threat modeling and risk assessment skills.
• Certs like CISSP/CCSP are a plus.
• Excellent Spanish and English communication.

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Arquitecto de Seguridad en la Nube to join their growing cybersecurity team in Mexico City, Mexico City, MX . This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing robust security solutions for our client's cloud infrastructure. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our client's digital assets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud security principles, risk management, and best practices in threat detection and mitigation. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive security architectures for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of network security, cryptography, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint protection.
• Strong understanding of threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud-specific security certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
