Job summary

Alignerr Corp. seeks cloud security practitioners to analyze how AI training environments fail and to assess real-world cloud risks across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

You will review IAM, networking, storage, and container security, and provide feedback to improve AI model reasoning about security incidents. This is a remote, hourly contract offering flexible hours (10–40 hours/week) and the chance to influence frontier AI systems with top research labs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production.
• Strong familiarity with cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security across one or more major cloud platforms.
• Experience identifying or responding to real-world misconfigurations and security incidents.
• Able to reason clearly about blast radius, attack surface, and downstream business impact.
• Detail-oriented with clear written communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and asynchronously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify realistic risks and failure patterns
• Review IAM policies, networking configurations, storage controls, and container security for gaps and misconfigurations
• Classify security failures based on real-world blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact
• Evaluate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold
• Provide structured expert feedback that directly improves AI model quality and accuracy
