Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) for a remote hourly contracting role. You will analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure, review IAM policies, networking, and container security, and classify misconfigurations and incidents by impact.

This freelance position offers 10–40 hours per week and flexible scheduling. The role emphasizes practical risk assessment and clear written communication to help AI systems understand and mitigate cloud security

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with cloud environments in production.
• Solid understanding of IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts.
• Familiarity with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents across major clouds.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns
• Review IAM policies, networking configurations, storage settings, and container security issues
• Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience working with cloud environments in production
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts
• Familiarity with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents across major cloud platforms
• Able to reason clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security tooling (e.g., AWS Security Hub, GCP Security Command Center, Azure Defender)
• Background in incident response, penetration testing, or cloud architecture
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, SOC 2, or NIST
