Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to analyze real-world cloud security scenarios and identify risks across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will review IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues and help improve AI reasoning about security incidents and blast radius.

The role is an hourly contract with remote work, 10–40 hours per week. You should have 2+ years in production cloud environments and strong written communication for feedback and documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts.
• Familiarity with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents across major cloud providers.
• Able to reason clearly and precisely about security risk, blast radius, and downstream business impact.
• Strong written communication skills for structured feedback and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns.
• Review and assess IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues.
• Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact.
• Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold.
• Help ensure AI systems reason correctly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact.

• Prior experience contributing to AI training or evaluation projects
