Job summary

TEKsystems in Peoria, IL is seeking a Cloud Security Consultant for a contract role. You will work with application teams to remediate vulnerabilities and help implement security policies that meet enterprise security requirements.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years in IT security operations, experience with Prisma Cloud and ServiceNow, and relevant security certifications. Onsite role with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT security operations experience.
• Experience with Prisma Cloud toolset (Redlock, Twistlock, PureSec).
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Professional information security certification (CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, GISCP, GWAPT, GWEB, etc).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to communicate highly technical security concepts to non-security audiences.
• Strong understanding and experience with information security technologies.
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams in accomplishing process review and improvement.
• Additional Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS).
• Web Application Firewall experience.
• Knowledge of security principles: defense in depth, SDLC and product development processes, IAM, business process design, web services security.
