Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced systems administrator for a contract position in Austin, TX. The role focuses on run-and-maintain tasks across Linux environments, OpenStack, VMware, and OpenShift used by a dedicated development team.

You will maintain production Linux-based systems, patch servers, configure load balancer ports, monitor performance, and collaborate with DBAs and engineers. The position is hybrid in Austin, with a competitive hourly rate and benefits for eligible temporary

Description

Looking for someone that has hands on experience supporting and troubleshooting Linux, VMware, Openstack and OpenShift in an enterprise sized environment.

** This role will be focused on "Run and Maintain" Tasks not high-level design work. **

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
