Job summary

Gallup is seeking a DevOps-focused engineer in Omaha, NE to design and optimize release pipelines, drive automation, and implement cloud infrastructure for scalable delivery. You will partner with developers, architects, and security teams to establish best practices and reliability across environments.

You will build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows, manage multi-region AWS releases, and advance observability and automation to keep systems stable and scalable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years designing/managing CI/CD, including 1+ year with GitHub Actions.
• 2+ years AWS cloud technologies (ECS, Lambda), IaC (Terraform) and MySQL.
• 2+ years scripting with Bash, Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineering, infrastructure and security teams to streamline delivery, reliability and observability
• Design, implement and maintain GitHub Actions-based CI/CD pipelines that support diverse applications and services
• Drive adoption and continuous improvement of DevOps practices across platforms and environments, leveraging existing framework
• Manage releases across multiple AWS regions and environments, ensuring seamless delivery
• Solve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges with a focus on scalability, observability and automation
• Support teams working across multiple applications, stacks and languages, adapting to full-stack architectures and deployment flows
