Job summary

Emerson’s DeltaV SaaS SCADA Customer Solutions Engineer will create proposals and formal commercial agreements, develop cloud-based SCADA software solutions, and act as a technical subject matter expert supporting various sales teams with technical documentation and software demonstrations.

In this role you will collaborate with clients to realize a vision for technology adoption, review scopes of work, and showcase the DeltaV SaaS SCADA Cloud Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical or Petroleum disciplines).
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of technical sales experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and technical support to the DeltaV SaaS SCADA business development team and Emerson Impact Partner network.
• Collaborate directly with clients to help them realize a vision for new technology adoption within their organization.
• Prepare, review, and approve the scope of work, network architectures and bill of materials for proposals and binding commercial agreements.
• Demonstrate and showcase the DeltaV SaaS SCADA Cloud Platform for existing and prospective clients.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on the DeltaV SaaS SCADA Cloud Platform to assist with solution development and training.
• Work with clients to understand their business and technical challenges and develop remote monitoring solutions.
• Implement and oversee the execution of pilot projects using internal and external tools for data collection, validation, and visualization.
