Job summary

Crescent Energy seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud/SaaS) to secure cloud platforms, SaaS apps, APIs, and AI-driven automation across the enterprise.

You will implement centralized logging, SIEM integrations, detection engineering, and incident response support, partnering with infrastructure, applications, and data teams to elevate security and resilience of digital assets. Upstream oil and gas experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
• Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, GIAC, Azure/AWS security certifications are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Secure and govern cloud and SaaS security controls across the enterprise.
• Enable centralized logging across cloud platforms, SaaS apps, and security tooling.
• Integrate cloud/SaaS telemetry with SIEM and managed SOC providers.
• Tune detection rules and alerting to improve visibility and response.
• Support incident response and SOC operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen resilience.
