Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud/SaaS) to secure cloud platforms, SaaS apps, APIs, and AI-driven automation across the enterprise. You will strengthen logging, telemetry, detection, and incident response while partnering with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to improve resilience.

With 4+ years in cybersecurity and a strong background in cloud and SaaS security, you will champion guardrails for AI-enabled workflows and ensure security controls align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, SaaS security, security operations, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience securing SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, and cloud-connected workflows.
• Upstream oil and gas experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure and govern cloud platforms, SaaS applications, APIs, AI-driven automation, and enterprise technologies across the organization.
• Develop and enforce centralized logging, telemetry, and security monitoring across cloud and SaaS environments.
• Tune SIEM rules and SOC integrations; support alerting, investigation, escalation, and coordinated response.
• Monitor cloud/SaaS environments for anomalous activity, support incident response and containment actions.
• Drive continuous improvement; standardize controls and tooling to enhance cyber resilience across the enterprise.
