Florida Power & Light Company is seeking an Associate Technical Services Specialist to ensure cloud-hosted apps are reliable, secure, and production-ready. The role blends cloud engineering, quality engineering, and DevOps practices to improve how software is developed, validated, deployed, and operated.

You will partner with developers and technical teams to manage cloud environments, automate tests and deployments, and proactively prevent issues that could impact production.

Qualificações

• Cloud Engineering & Administration: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, managing cloud hosting, IAM, and security.
• DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation experience.
• Quality engineering including automated testing across APIs and UI.
• Software development: Python/PowerShell/Bash/JavaScript and APIs.
• Observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting.

Responsabilidades

• Provides full-time technical support to the operations and business unit personnel.
• Performs system testing and documentation to critical systems during significant changes and/or upgrade.
• Analyzes root causes and implements technical solutions to complex deficiencies.
• Provides technical leadership in security center applications and tools.
• Develops new processes to increase productivity and reliability.
• Establishes procedures and guidelines for day-to-day operations.
• Travels to power plants for onsite troubleshooting.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
