Job summary

Motive is seeking a Red Team Security Engineer to join the Product Security Team. You will act as the primary security partner for software and engineering, conducting adversary emulation and offensive assessments across cloud environments while driving remediation efforts.

You will write concise, actionable reports, map findings to MITRE ATT&CK, and collaborate with blue team and detection engineering to strengthen detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of offensive security, red teaming, penetration testing and detection validation.
• Ability to map findings to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Write concise, actionable reports for diverse stakeholders.
• Certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, GXPN, GPEN or cloud security certs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute red team operations and adversary simulations in cloud environments.
• Evaluate security of cloud infrastructure, IAM, CI/CD pipelines, containers and cloud-native services.
• Identify attack paths from IAM misconfigurations, overprivileged roles, secret exposure, metadata abuse and insecure automation.
• Assess detection and response coverage by testing logging, alerting, monitoring and IR processes with blue team.
• Keep abreast of attacker techniques and cloud exploitation trends.
